If you drive much at night the HID's are a major upgrade, really help see at night. And if you're going to keep the car for a long time the alarm with remote start tied in to the auto door lock and stuff is AMAZING. I've only had it in since saturday but I don't know how I functioned without it

Well i put a good 150 miles on my car per day, and most are at night, i just dont want to bugg to many other drivers with HID, as a delivery driver i know i would be an annoyance on the street, but for daily driving their not bad

I have a 2 way pager on my car (stolen twice before installed) and its pretty nice, had a remote start on my Integra GSR but the problem with the remote starts are is it makes it easier to steal your car =\ not sure exactly how.. but due to living here in kent/renton i know lots of car thieves and they say that's how they steal cars.

Also the little "blue" or "red" led flashing light actually helps thieves.. (so ive been told) it makes them more careful around your car, knowing that you have an alarm is not a deterrent, just makes them more cautious. If you have the little LED, i would disconnect it. At least on a honda

lol its all about how you install it, if the installer is good and really knows what they're doing its pretty much impossible to disable, but yeah you have a point about your generic car-toys alarm installs. I could have one of those disabled in about 2 minutes lol
