both scratch easily, even my matte has some scratches but u have to look reallll close to see them so its not something you notice so either works fine and remember if your worried about scratching just pay an extra $50 or so for a clear vinyl sheet to go over the black sheet to protect it

i installed it myself

if you look at the first roof pic you can see the difference between the reflection of the sun roof and the overlay and as i said i did 5 layers of matte ink so it aint pure matte more of a cross over for that unique look

i might call it a satin then.

so im not sure i quite understand. vinyl now comes transparent? how would putting 5 layers of matte vinyl make it appear to be satin black?

5 layers of the matte ink, when its printed its put on a 3M sheet and 1 coat is applied normally, but we put it through the printing press 5 times to do the ink real deep basically extra ink for the deeper look

and yes you can get clear vinyl for protecting etc (have it over my front section of the car)

i guess satin could be a good way of seeing it but its nice for sure

ahh, you printed it 5 times. you kept saying layers so i had assumed 5 different sheets of vinyl gave you that appearance. which is why it made no sense to me.

i know they make a clear vinyl. i used to install it at my old job.

nice man. black roof is def the way to go on pretty much anything. makes it look so much more aggressive. i did bats gloss overlay on mine and i love it

sorry bout the confusion lol as Shank and them say "my british comes out sometimes " lol

yeah the roof makes such a dramatic change to the car and now with the drop on coilovers its even better love it so much... i ordered bluebats overlays (front and rear lights and roof) but only used the lights since the roof was split down the middle which left a seem down the center, drove me crazy lol so just got 1 big sheet done

but i loveeee my overlays looks crazy aggressive now lol

Well got my LED's today from Intec Racing (drl's, courtesy lights, Dome, and License plate lights) and installed them tonight. Thanks Andrew for the referral down there and thanks Joe for the hook up. Gotta say they look even better in person!
