just like the title says does anyone have feedback on some good shops in the area for nissan's/infiniti motor swap..i have a motor already im just looking for some qoute's im debating just doing the research and doing to job with some friends... the car is garage to not my dd..

if you up for a little Drive to Kent hit up Intec Racing as they have done alot of Inf/Nissan work lately and big projects.

yes straight stock stock motor ...ive looked into other motors that others have attempted like the hr and the rb but im not looking to spend all that time and money switching the ecu ,tranny, motor mounts, support, wiring, etc..

 

yeah its not really worth it IMO to put a different motor in when there is so much you can do to the VQ to make it stout as it.

yea your right seymore4 the de engine isnt that bad besides the consumption issue and all.. but also since i have two engines i was jus gonna build the one im taking out , who knows maybe throw it in a old school 280

 

If you do build the engine you wont have to worry about the oil consumption issue too

High compression NA VQ35DE in a clean 280 would be FILTHY!!!!!

 

yea it would ..i have a 77 in the backyard my dad bought it brand new hahaha

Are you still looking for a shop? A couple good friends just opened up a shop in Bellevue, and have plenty of VQ experience. In fact, they're just finishing up a Vortech install for another forum member right now.
