Audio issues
I have an 03 coupe, for the last year my radio has been draining my battery causing me to have to disconnect the battery when i leave the car sitting. This week the cd player stopped working. What are my cheaper priced options to fix my problem? The stock set up worked well for all my needs but i wouldnt mind being able to hook up my ipod to the car ether.
Thanks
Thanks
What I did was hook up a tape adapter to my phone, and i use pandora or mp3's to listen to music other than the radio... I had my headunit replaced 3 times already through my extended warranty... unfortunately, my plan is over, and my CD player is now dead as well... I was considering an aftermarket head unit, but it would cost 3-4 hundred for a good stereo, another 100-150 for the dash, and another 150 or so in misc adapters..... f/that noise..
Guys I am having radio issues aswell. For starters when I first cut my car on my cd player skips till it is warmed up which is really annoying. Secondly the sound put out fades from side to side and cuts off without warning, does anyone know what this means is my car defective or something?More info about my car its a 04 G35 coupe with 67k on it, any help will be greatly appreciated.
Any suggestions on a specific head unit I should look into and a price range on a good one? Thanks guys

I have the same problem with mine, sometimes the right speaker side the volume is low while the left is fine or vice versa, what I normally do is just give my head unit on the side a lil hit and it fixes it LOL, Always works, but I am afraid that I may break it one day so I got a double din from my friends for my bday/christmas.
what i found is, is you can get a pretty good brand of head unit for cheap nowadays but its the misc. installation parts such as the double din itself that gets real expensive.
