In need of code reader!

This morning I went to leave my house and discovered that my 2003 G35 sport coupe (5at) wouldn't start. I checked all the fuses ( drivers footwell, near battery) also tried to jump start it, start it in neutral, etc etc. It looks like it could be my cam position sensors, crank position sensor or even quite possibly the vvti sensor. I called infiniti and they said its not an open recall. So I guess i'm on my own. Before I go and drop money on random parts hoping it works, I was wondering if anyone local has a code reader? I know i'm new to the forum, but I hope love for the G35 will come through! I'm located in Tigard and would love to get this beast back on the road. I even just put brand new tires on saturday damn it! lol

Probably the best bet is to rent one from the auto store. If you can get there/back in a different car that is

^ it's ok I appreciate it anyway. Apparently it's codes p1610 and p1614 which is NATS- Nissan anti theft system. Basically crank with no start. The issue is with my key; guess I'll have the stealership make me one monday. I'll post my results here, thanks everyone.

Ever thought about an Uprev tune? You can turn off NATs as part of it.. I'm sure the dealer would charge you a grip for new keys...

PS- I DO like their new setup tho, stopped by to test drive an FX with the wifey earlier

Its what we use to tune 2003 and newer nissan/ infiniti's, gives you full control over the stock ecu just like a stand alone engine management system. fuel, timing, rev/speed limiters, codes, torque management for the 5AT guys, etc etc. Its pretty awesome. Just the boost in performance from removing the electronic throttle restriction makes it worth while.

I'm leaving for Texas on Wednesday but since you're in a pinch I could meet up with you tomorrow after work (get off at 3:30 in Cascade Station) to show you how it all works if you're interested.

So $280 at Beaverton Infiniti and I need my car towed. Or 300 for Osiris? Easy choice lol
