60K service $920 at Infiniti of Kirkland!?
Hey guys,
I've got a 2003 Sedan with about 58K on the odometer. I was in last week for an oil change and was given the heads up about the upcoming 60K service at Infiniti of Kirkland. They told me it'll cost me just a little over $900! Have any of you guys had this service done or are approaching this? How much did you guys spend and where? I have a friend who's able to do some of the maintanence, but I don't know if i'm allowed to have Infiniti do just some of the jobs a-la-carte. I'm already in need of new tires so its really hard to swallow spending another grand this soon. Any suggestions?

Yeah, check what they do, and do whatever you can yourself. I had the dealer just change my tranny fluid (don't like dealing with the mess) and flush the coolant down in socal for ~$350 bux at 60k. I do the brakes, oil, and diff oil myself. What kinda tires are you getting? I'd recommend BFG KDW2s from tire-rack (if you want stock sizes). . .it'll be about $600 or so instead of $1000 for the michellins. I love 'em. :-)

Yes, I of K is the reamanalistic. I had them just do the 30k auto trann flush. I can do the rest myself.
If you look at most of the services, ALOT of them is just "check this", "check that" type of deal.
Not that I'd wish Nissan service on anyone but if you are COOL with a Nissan tech, there's no reason they couldn't do most if not all of the servicing

hey man that is way too much $$$, unless, they are doing your power steering, throttle body cleaning etc. there are a lot of optional add ons that you can do at 60k or 90k and depending on what they put you down for it can get up to 900 easy.
The std. 60k service should run about $630 or so at the dealer w/out power steering/throttle body. The throttle body will probably take you up to like 700 but i think that is worth it. Check out maintenance info here

Thanks for the input. I've still got some time so I should be able to find some way of bringing that price down. As for tires i'm currently running some 18" Kumho Ecsta XPs I believe. I'll look into those recommended. Thanks again for the tips.
