Anyone interested in taking over my T-Mobile contract?
I get pretty poor reception where I'm at (Luke AFB). So, the only way that I wouldn't have to pay the $200 termination fee is if I could get someone to take over my contract (March 31, 2008). The benefits for whoever would take it are:
-You don't have to start a new 2 year contract.
-I'll give you a P.O.S. V3 Razr.
-You don't have to start a new 2 year contract.
You could also get a cheap phone from Ebay that works with T-Mobile service, if you didn't want my Razr.
I'll actually even debate giving you a little cash or something, as well.
If you're interested, let me know.
Please, do not PM me. I do not have easy access to a PC. If you're interested, please email me at JeromeS13@gmail.com
Thanks,
Jerome

^^^ T-Mobile has always required contracts, unless you go Pre-Paid.
2A656 - If you can prove your residence is on the AFB with any type of official document (a bill, proof of residence, etc) and T-Mobile's coverage maps (www.t-mobile.com/coverage) indicate that you have little/no service at that address, they will let you out of the contract.

I got out of my Verizon contract because they did not have coverage on Camp Pendleton at the time. They tried to argue that Camp Pendleton was not my residence but I came back with the fact I didn't need a cell phone for home use. I was out of reach approximately 11 hours a day while I was at work. --It all depends on how helpful the person on the line wants to be.
Why Did You Sign A Two Year Contract? T Mobile Is The King Of One Year Contracts And Also If You Are In The Military There Are Papers I Am Sure That You Could Get Ahold Of To Get You Out Of Your Contract. Ie; Deployment? Just A Thought Though
i had the same issue with Tmobile back when the sidekick came out and OMG what POS reception, i had issues with the phone and customer service for two months and all they could tell me is to restart the phone, i finally gave them the finger and switched...

Well, there "is" coverage in my area. My home base is Luke AFB, which is in metro Phoenix. So, there's no resolution there. And, where I'm at now (Tyndall AFB, Panama City, FL), they "have" an antannae on base.
I'll probably just deal with it for another year. No biggie.
Thanks for all the input, guys.
