If it's brand new in box, why not try to take it to Walmart ot Target to get store credit? It doesn't hurt to try. That's probably the best bet to get your money back at this point. I wish I could do that with my PS3 but it's open box already.

I once returned $1200 worth of video games to Walmart and the manager allowed me to exchange them for store credit. (Long story, I won 40 brand new Dreamcast games at a tournament) I bought a digital video camcorder that day... and later returned it for eh... cash.
