I don't work for Apple... our headquarters is in San Ramon, not Cupertino. And I don't work retail, so I was a bit surprised when they told us we get discount on the iPhone.

Walked into an ATT/Cingular store in the mall the day after the release and they had 8gb iPhones in stock. I think that they will start getting scarce closer to Xmas. Right now, as of last night, all the Apple stores in Illinois had them available.

100$ each is pretty BS considering these are regular stock items now

Bought mine 3 days ago on a whim and they were there.

These aren't PS3... and after 2 hours after it came out

IT FLOPPED.
