Thumbs up Powersave

Hi All,

I have great product that is a must have for everyone that owns a home or business. It will save you upto 25% or more on your electricity bill. The product comes with a 60 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE and a 5 year warranty. It is UL listed and recognized by the US Dept of Energy. I have Residential and Commercial units. The residential unit is $289 + shipping and the Commercial unit is $840 + shipping. Install should be done by a licensed electrician to the main circuit panel. The units will give you a ROI in 1-1.5 years or less. Then after that the money saved is yours!

It's also a great way to help the environment as well.

PM me for details and I will give you more information.

dTor, don't be quick to assume it's spam, as you don't know a thing about the product, nor have you even bothered to inquire about it.

if you are not interested, just click on the next subject... I have a few clients who are more than happy with it.

Just off the top of my head, some common characteristics of spam include:

- little or no product description, specifications, or pictures
- no company name or contact information
- panacea-like promises or other "drastic improvements" that attempts to make the consumer think that they can't live without it, and/or promises to help improve something pertaining to current news events
- a "money-back guarantee", with no terms describing said guarantee
- some type of certification, recognition, or endorsement which, upon further investigation, reveals that such certification is easy to obtain or is so vague that it is meaningless ("recognized by the US Dept. of Energy as..... what? Something useful, a pile of crap, a product that exists?)
- the claim of many happy clients. Who are these clients? Can I contact them? Are they real customers or compensated endorsers of your product?

It is not my responsibility to inquire about your product that I know nothing of. It is your responsibility to sell it in a non-sleazy manner (if your product can actually be sold as such). It is your duty to draw in customers' interest based on factual data and supporting evidence. Then, back that up with third party reviews/tests and REAL customer feedback about the product. Give us something tangible to buy from you and maybe you'll get a few customers.

When you stop advertising your product like a diet pill or an abdominal electrocution device, then I'll remove the from my post and apologize for my unfounded comments.

Until then,

I was simply trying to keep too much information about the product from the posting, if someone was interested, I would send them all the fine details they would need to make a decision. There is substantial information regarding the product and warranty that it would be overwhelming for those just trying to get a brief synopsis of the product, and it would be a very long post. I have been on this forum for a long time, and I am not here to rip anyone off. I know there have been people here in the past that have done this and I choose not to be like them.

I have nothing to hide. So if someone wants to know more I will send them everything I have on the product. if you want the info pm me and then after you read everything and still think I am making empty promises, then go ahead and flame me on the board. but until then try to have an open mind.

In America residential customers are not charged by power factor.

Check your bill, your power company charges you per Kilowatt Hour NOT powerfactor as industrial consumers are charged.

Therefore, reducing power factor does not save you money.

This device IS A SCAM!!! That's not because it doesn't reduce power factor as it says it does but because it DOES NOT SAVE RESIDENTAIL CUSTOMERS ANY MONEY.

For more information don't ask a salesman but ask an electrician or engineer that does not gain from the sale of a frivolous product. In the past other "energy savers" have come out including the "green plug" from back in the day. Look it up and see that it works in a similar manner.

Though I appreciate everyone's opinion, and their ability to use google to justify their point of view, how ever I too can do this, see the link below

http://www.dslreports.com/forum/rema...9999~start=120

FYI, GE has been producing these units for some time now, they are called KVAR. So maybe GE is scamming consumers as well? Heck everyone is who ever puts a product out is scamming consumers, right, atleast until YOU say they are ok.

What I will say is that if you are not interested, please continue on your way... and I will on mine.

Thanks for the thread.

A large number if not the majority of the posts discredit your product.

One example that puts things in lay terms which is also the last note:

"The magic device is a box of caps.
Connecting the caps to an inductive load will reduce the current, but not the power, except for some losses in the wiring. Therefore there should not be much difference in the electric meter readings.
Thus far nobody posted any measurable savings data showing otherwise."

As per searching KVAR products created by GE there turned on hits. Also, if they're making them then why aren't they selling them like the highly reputable firm of ... what is it agian? powersaver?

Like I said, go search the info on the old "green plug" ... similar ideas have been used in the past.

On that note perhaps you would like to purchase some Theater Innovations speakers from this guy : https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...ations+theater

After all, 900 watts for $675 (originally $3500) is SUCH A BARGAIN!

There's been a boatload of companies out there that have claimed power savings in the past with different trinket devices.

NAME ONE that is still around? Seriously, just ONE!!!

That's right... you can't name one because they eventually go out of business because people figure out that it doesn't really work. If items like this did work don't you think someone like say..... the US government or a state agency or hmmm... IBM, Dell, industrial companies, etc. would be using such products from your big name hotshot firm?

See you guys can't go rip off the big guys b/c before they spend boatloads of money they make sure they know what they're getting. What you try to do instead is trick hardworking consumers who know very little about physics and engineering and tell them they'll save money by buying your garbage capacitor box.
