I have a Movado stainless steel watch for sale. Was purchased at Macy's downtown san francisco for 950 + tax = $1030. Worn twice to a wedding and tried to return it, but I lost my receipt. Item return label is still on the watch and box. They would only offer me credit back.. which i really don't want.

heres an idea: Take the store credit from Macy's in the form of 10 $100 merchandise credits (and 1 $30 credit) and sell off the store credits for $90 or something like that. Thats the best way to minimize your losses really. The way I see it, its not hard to sell $100 in store credit for $90 (slightly less).

 

i thought about it, but after ebay fees and paypal and all that bs crap, it comes out to be about 700ish + alot of effort =)

 

how about you return it to macy's and get your $1030 gift certificate and i'll buy it off you for $600??
