it works....it had the sim and everything in it. pretty sure you can unlock it by bringing it to someone good with phones. the battery is included

 

EDIT*** i lied, theres a mini scuff on the top right corner of the phone but it isnt noticeable; i didnt see it until i got hold of the phone just now

 

IMEI's are now tracked by carriers, if they see it on the system and it was reported lost or stolen, they can come get you and the phone. Carriers never deamed it neccesary before, but with phone theft rising, they all do it now. My offer still stands until something else comes up.

I guess since no one else asked, why did you not try to return it to its owner, the phonebook I'm sure would have a "home" number or a "friend " in there.
