FS: Tag Heuer Carrera Chrono Tachy (CV2010) + F1 Grande Date (CAH1012)
#2
Wow... these look great and you did a nice job with both your descriptions and your pics.
I have to agree... the 1/10th Chrono is pretty cool. I have a Seiko Sportura with a 1/10th & 1/100th Chron and it's so fast, it's sorta like seeing a helicopter blade spinning.
Free bump!
I'd take the Carrera off your hands if I had $ to burn on a watch right now.

Thanks!
It seems there may be some confusion about the Carrera. I apologize for not being clear in my original post. The Carrera is in 100% working order and in no way defective.
To be clear about the "frozen date" incident I stated:
The watch itself never stopped working but rather the date display was "stuck" between two numbers. The Tag Heuer facility explained to me that this can sometimes happen with this particular movement if the date is changed between 8pm-2am. I don't want to say it's common, but after browsing this forum and timezone I confirmed the statement through various posts in the forums. The watch was serviced by Tag Heuer and is currently in 100% working order. I kept the service records in case any problem should ever arise in the future. Although, now that we know what caused that problem it can be easily avoided. I always thought of this as a temperamental nuance of the watch rather that a "problem". However, I still felt it was important to mention.
I apologize for not making this clearer in the original post. I have never had any other "problem" with this watch, it keeps excellent time and the chronograph is both accurate and beautiful to observe.
With all that said, I've gotten quite a few offers but one has followed through with the purchase yet. This is about as low as I can offer these watches for:
Carrera - $1500 + shipping
F1 - $600 + shipping
I am willing to split paypal fees.
Thanks,
Orhan
