lolz nothing at all wrong with any of the phones. I am switching to Sprint since my brother is getting me a nice deal and where I live the reception for Sprint is stronger. The phones still have like 8 months of warranty left from HTC and were purchased BRAND NEW by me at local T-mobile store. I used all phones with case/screen protector since DAY 1.

Buyers need to be aware of the internal hardware and what signals these pick up on. I work for Verizon and far too often i see people try to come in with an AT&T phone and it is an expensive paperweight for all I am concerned.

Thanks but what are you talking about. The listing is for a T-mobile UNLOCKED phone. That means it is an UNLOCKED GSM PHONE and if a buyer is serious the would search the specs to see that any smart phone is going to be a QUAD BAND GSM phone.

Verizon phones are locked to verizon and sprint phones are locked to sprint. GSM phones can be used world wide with AT&T, T-mobile, Simple Mobile, Vodafone, O2, and the list goes on. So please tell me what hardware you speak of.

He was referring to GSM vs CDMA. People should be aware that they actually have completely different hardware in the phones. Even an unlocked GSM phone could never work on a CDMA network, and vice versa.

Here is the common companies that use each technology.
CDMA - Alltel, Cricket Communications, MetroPCS, Sprint Nextel, U.S. Cellular, Verizon Wireless

GSM - AT&T, T Mobile, Cellular One, TracFone


Within each there is bands of frequencies. Actually within GSM there is a total of 11 frequency bands. Quad band, means it will work on 4 of the 11 bands (850/900/1800/1900 MHz). There is 2 main bands in the US 850 MHz and 1900 MHz, most other countires run on 900 MHz and 1800MHz in Europe.

Also remember there is some countries such as Japan that do not even support GSM at all (they use analog AMPS). China and S Korea also only use CDMA. The only true world phone is a multi network/multi band phone. The only one to be produced so far is the Nokia 6340i.
