Ted if you come up im down to go to the range. I suck and haven't shot in a long *** time. I like to go rent and shoot the others because im too lazy to clean them after a day at the range lol

what do you mean put out well? you mean turn on and off? there's a pressure switch that is activated by the grip....are you can just turn the tail cap too....my ar has a holder that you can just mount a regular old surefire light too and a on/off tailcap switch.....

but honestly...the light is a pretty useless accessory. i'm not gonna be clearning my house anytime soon that i foresee....so yeah....

i was referring to the light output...I was plannin to just trick out my AR a little with a tactical light and a few other things, but I wanted one that I could possible swap onto my handguns also. I want good light output, but not tryin to pay a couple hundred for a flashlight...

oh well i'm a big fan of surefire for any kind of tactical light...but they're hella expensive. light output is excellent though. as for mounting options...as long as your have a picattany rail you can get a light like the one i have and it should be easy to swap between weapons...

no problem...and if you're looking for something for the girlfriend...look at the surefire e2d defender. not only are surefire lights super bright that they'll temporarily blind any assailant, the defender has a scalloped bezel and tailcap that the box describes is used to cause pain and control an attacker...lol
