Good news ... here is a heads up for those in the show!

On behalf of Hot Import Nights, welcome to Soldier Field, Chicago.

This is your confirmation email. You will not need to print this; simply check in with your I.D. / First and last name.

Check-In will take place on:

Friday 7.10.09 - 2pm to 6pm (no need to arrive earlier than 2pm)
Saturday 7.11.09 - 12 to 2pm (not recommended, but offered)

While checking in, you'll receive your competitor judging sheet & you will be directed to the show staging area. Your competitor package will include a competition judge sheet and two wristbands (Bikes receive 1 wristband).

This competition sheet must be clearly filled out displayed on the driver-side window at ALL times.


Regulations:

Vehicles are limited to 1/4 tanks of fuel.

Batteries will need to be disconnected.

Vehicle must be clean and free of body damage. Project cars and prototypes must be in a completed state.

Vehicles displaying graphics and decals must do so in a tasteful manner in the spirit of competition. Blatant advertisement wraps that serve no cosmetic taste other than personal advertisement will not be permitted. If you are unsure about your vehicle you can email at nate@hinevents.com to check.

Team displays are encouraged, please email edgar@hinevents.com if you are planning on doing a team display.

When you check-in you will be given two wristbands, one for yourself and a guest (Bikes will receive 1 wristband) Everyone MUST have a wristband on to enter show premises on Saturday.

Roll-Out – Once all spectators have exited the venue and show management has cleared the venue, roll-out can commence.

HIN Awards winners will be posted at the side of the HIN Main Stage near the trophy line. Please verify your name and collect your prize immediately. Trophy prizes will NOT be shipped to the competitor if not picked up, and will be recycled. Also Check for a cash prize as some awards may include a check.

lou malnati's has good pizza too =P

joy yee has good chinese food and bubble tea (as well as a large assortment of drinks)

lou's is good, just make sure you call ahead of time. my friend told me the pizzas take 45 min to cook and there usually a wait at the door. alternatively you can do what i did and just buy their frozen pies and cook it at home =P

Lou Malnatis is one of the best pizza places hands down.
And yes, it does take some time for them to cook the pizza, but it is well worth it.

i heard like 30-45 min cook time....

depending on pizza, it can be up to an hour.

cool man see you there. I wanted to make it in before 6pm also but I dont think the other guys can leave Friday morning. It would be best to get there on Friday but they are allowing us to roll in on sat from 12pm - 2pm.

Dal Ill problly be ready Fri no later then 1pm. My boss is trying to find out if she can let me off the whole day if not she said she would def. do half day. So thats means Ill be out at noon. If ya want I can just bring my stuff and leave work and head to your place since Ill be at Sawmill anyways.
