hey guys, Where we stay is no issue to me...just as long as we have a place to park our cars and feel safe with them there. I am not willing to go $300 a night, but anywhere up to the $150 mark sounds reasonable...I am just on for tonight for a few...heading out on the moto for a two day trip back to Ohio tomorrow.

1177 miles in two days, riding 17 hours to get here. And its should be about the same in return. So I should be home Monday night If you guys come up with something before then, call me, text me and I will call when I stop for gas...

There is a Hilton in Oak Lawn.. It is 149.00 a night there.. I am pretty sure our cars are safe parked there.

Hey, does anyone have one of those things that basically powers a battery while the car is off so that I could have the screens in my car on while at the car show? Supposedly the battery has to be disconnected and I would love to have the car all lit up, but I don't have one? Just thought I would ask if there was one that I could borrow for the weekend instead of buying one...

You will also need to pay HIN to use their power.

I wanted one also lol.. How much are they? And can we power up multiple cars? On that registration form it tells you what you had to do to get power..

"If you are using ELECTRICITY (AC to DC) to power your vehicle during the show, you must ORDER IN ADVANCE! EMAIL CARS@HINEVENTS.COM"

Last year, when scions rolled in, and passed the battery check, they reconnected their batteries and used those.

I mean, I have no problem with that what so ever...I did it at the last car show Mike and I were at...I am pretty sure it is outside in the parking lot, so I don't see where it would be that big a deal...Just not sure about walkin off with my keys in the car...Will the vallet key turn the car on, but not let the ignition start? I got two Optima Yellow tops powering my car, so not too worried bout battery drain...
