Z springs installation

Hey guys, fairly new member here looking for a repitable shop in NKY/ Cinci to install my springs on my 03.5 sedan. Have had them for a few weeks now and I'm getting antsi to get them on. Would do it myself, just don't have all the right tools. Tire discounters wants $380 plus the alignment??? I'm just a poor white boy here looking to drop my ride, nothing fancy..lol. Anyway, if anyone in OGC knows a good shop (or someone) that does it for a good price, I would love to know.

I need to get mine installed before next weekend as well. Mine will be easier, since my springs are attached to the shock already.

aar0n666...welcome to the forum! I am often in cicny (batavia side of town) since my girlfriend lives there. G/L with the install if you cant make it to an install meet! Check the introduction thread and networking thread. There are few guys from cicny on here, and they can point you in the right direction (locally)

Cincy Performance is a good place. I know they do a bunch of work on f-bodys but have heard a lot of good things from them.

Not sure if you know about CincyStreetScene.com but might want to ask around there. Though if you don't have thick skin be fore warned lol

You already have these on but if I would have seen this earlier we could have helped you. We did my G in the garage in a couple of hours. We have done so many installs in the past few years it is sad lol

Well now you tell, LOL. I ended up doing them myself thanks to the awesome DIY video section along with a few other DIY write ups...it was a simple install and the only problem I ran into was getting the shock assy, top bolt busted loose. I love the way they turned out but with anything else....its still not enough! I want to go just a bit lower.

I feel ya, I have the same thing on mine. A few people cant even tell it is lowered since it sits about as low as the RWD G's do stock. I would love to go lower but I think bigger wheels will help with the look I want.

Btw if there is anything else that you or anyone local needs help with let us know. I have been modding cars for 10+ years and I dragged my husband into it 4 years ago too. I did have back surgery in March so I can't do the crawling under the car stuff as much but I still love doing whatever I can.

I will Def keep you in mind. I love tinkering around in the garage but it gets pretty boring by myself. Its always nice to have a knowledgeable hand around. My wife and I just bought a new house so funds are rather limited to do any serious modding but my upcoming project is the black vinyl overlay for the roof. I know paint is the better route but I change my mind so often I'm afraid I may not like the look once its been there a few weeks.

I am thinking about the black roof too but I wanted to see one in person first before deciding. I go back and forth so much on modding the G cosmetically or keeping it stock looking. Sometimes I wish I never got bit by the mod bug b.c I mod every car I own.

I hear ya...I'm not really big on going all out on the cosmetics. Just enough to stand out but not a complete head turner either. I still want to be able to elude the police if I have too...lol, just kidding!
