Im a bit late but I live in Union and have an 05 DG X that is lowered, partially debadged, tinted and I am rockin "The G Spot" plate frame. I am always all over N.Ky and Cincy and have seen a lot of modded coupes but not so many sedans except that black one that is slammed, and a very nice DG sedan. I would love to get together sometime although it will make me want to mod my G even more and I am trying to keep that to just the weekend car for now.

Edit: Forgot I snapped a pic today with my BB of the DG sedan I have seen around. Not sure if it is highoutput or not but it looks nice.

I would love to come to every single event but I am pretty involved with our Subaru group and have been for years now. It seems that most of those events- which I usually plan- are on the same days as the G meets. I don't pick the days, I just plan the events around when the most people are available, which doesn't always work out best for me. Besides, my car is pretty much stock as it is my DD, so it isn't very fun to look at.

Hey on a side note does anyone have any 18" tires for sale? I just need to get 4 that match anywhere between 225/45/18 or a 235/45/18 or 245/40/18. I don't like buying used stuff that I can't see first and I don't really need brand new tires for the extra set of wheels.

 

well, even if it is stock, we would love to see you out just to meet some new faces...

 

I was just looking at the newbie meet for this weekend and trying to figure out if we could make it or not. Friday is my husbands b-day so I'm not sure what the plans are yet so that is the only thing right now, hopefully I will know as the week goes on.

Nope we were in our Forester XT. I actually live in TC, do you? I just checked out your pics and yours looks a bit like one I have seen at one of those businesses off of Limaburg, although the wheels were still silver at the time.

If you see this it is my Husband or both of us. It's the only black lowered stock wheeled FXT that I have seen around.


This is my, I mean our, weekend car. Usually it is just me, but sometimes my husband is out with me and driving it.

Ah ok, we live one area down in the Promenade. I was wondering who's car that was, the wheels look really good. I was just looking through my pics and I don't have any newer ones either. I really need to get my 18's, I have had them for months but redid the driveline in the RS instead of buying tires a while back.

 

My daughter has a friend that lives in that area...lol. The wheels turned out alot better once I installed the z springs. But really want some forged 19's. I will powder coat them the same color as my 18's. I picked up a set of michelin pilot sports (2) 225/45 and (2) 245/45 with less than 1000K miles, from some guy on craigslist for $100....lol hell of a deal for having to drive to Columbus to get them. Saved myself about $800 bucks..

 

How old is your daughter? There is only 1-2 school aged girls on our street so I doubt it is one of them. We did the wheels on my RS ourselves and they look perfect. I was thinking about doing my coupe 18's in black but wasn't sure how it would look on at DG. I have found a lot of great deals but b.c mine is an X I can't run staggered size tires so that limits me a bunch.

 

The friend that I am thinking of is around 14-15. I have seen a few really good deals on craigslist for wheels. There is a guy that has the coupe 18's and aftermarket 19's and he told me $800 for both sets. Both with tires....not a bad price at all. But I think the 19's are staggered.
