anybody been around hocking hills lately? that would a pretty fun drive and lots of nice places to chill and grill or whatever

well, I will look into my weekends in October to see when I can set something up. I think a Fall drive through Hocking Hills would be great with a cook out or maybe the zipline tours I tried to set up in June might be in order. In Case those of you didnt know, Hocking Hills is full of twistys, hills and beauiful back drops once the leaves get to changing. I went to school in Athens and the drive there and back are by far some of the most beautiful drives I have ever taken!
Not to mention, Car and Driver editors all take cars down through there for real road testing!

Start feeding some dates on here and once I get to my calender and also check with my walking calender (Karen) I will set this up.

BTW, the zip line tours are about 80 a person, 70 in groups of 8.

Also, Old Man's Cave and several hiking trails are located in hocking hills as well.

If you wanted to map some roads out down there to check the twisties, try Rt 555 and 13. I will post a link that rates those roads in a bit. I have to get my other laptop out for that (its where I saved those links!)

 

what do you do on teh zipline tours?

well the only day i have off as many of you guys may know is sundays

 

^ +1 mine may be back to monday thru friday but I dont know yet. problly wont know for another month or so.

how many people would be free for say a sunday meet in hocking hills sometime this month or early november?

as for October I am only free October 4th and 11th. I could be free the 25th, that is, if you guys would like to meet my daughter...and that would take me out of the zipline tours...
