I am planning on going with that intake and possibly the arc exhaust as well. I won't be doing any mods this year though. Next spring hopefully will bring a lot of changes. Let me know how you like it.

Thanks man, I'll post more pics once I get the bumber back on and engine cover etc... I also did a grounding kit last night as well so I'll post pics of that as well in the next couple days.

Why are there shields in front of the filters?

 

I thought that was funny to but figured he had a reason

 

To keep water from directly hitting the filters as they rest right behind the grill.

guess you don't have to worry about heat coming from the engine

 

BINGO! It's to keep water from getting into the engine.

As for the engine heat, that's why I went with this intake over the other short rams, it get the coolest air right up front. This intake actually dynoed adding 18hp to the wheels, pretty incredible for an intake. Was kind of a bitch to install, had to dremel cut the original intake holes to make room for the big tubes. I think it will be worth it!

 

I have seen, heard and felt the difference in BuckeyeG's 37...its worth it.
