I had a similar post. I got tenzos with continental 19s. About 1800 through a couple of vendor pricing wars with muteki lugs. Miro 111 and the advantis were in the runnin but a couple hundred more. Haven't had a problem yet and its been a few months. My budget was 2000 but since I was spendin that (which is a lot to me) I decided to get new lower midrange wheels compared to same price volks with rashes and/or nicks on them. However I'm still fairly new to this g world so I just wanted something. Concave look black wheels on silver car suited me just fine

I like number 1 over number 2...but my concern would be weight. Knowing you autocross...it could effect your performance such as slower take offs and longer braking. how much do they weigh?

btw, I dont believe you have ever posted up pics of your ride on here and your mods! I know you have some interesting things (such as your headlights) that ppl on here would like to see...

35lbs is HEAVY!! our stock 19s only 19lbs. I would find something lighter. nice looking wheels though.

You might want to look into Varrstoen 2.2.2
They're the Volk replicas.
They're 6 spoke and come in all black, but the lips aren't real deep.
They do have a nice concave look, aggressive offsets and are in ur price range.

I just got a set and really like them.
They give the G that real aggressive look.

It is going to be difficult to find something that has the two or three piece look that is light in his price range. The oem rays have the advantage that they are a forged one piece wheel (the same reason I picked the te37 over the GTS when I picked up my volks)

I would just say cruise the FS section until you find something you like. Even go over the the 350 boards as well (thats where I got mine) You will get a better deal on a nicer wheel if you go used.

Mine had tires on them that I will get two summers out of and I paid 2800+shipping Volk TE37 Seibon Edition with Bridgestone RE-11. If you want to know what kind of deal that is, check tirerack for the prices on the tires alone..

Good luck with your search!

If those two are your only choices I would go with the split-spoke. Once again I would scan the FS of all related sites. While I wasn't able to get an amazing deal like Jomanchu, I did find some local Volk RE30s for about $2300.
