Hey guys, my father and I came across an original 1965 mustang coupe about a year ago. The car was being kept inside the warehouse across the street from us, and we decided it might be a nice project to bring her back to life.
The car's paint needed to be redone, as well as the interior. We dropped $7,000 on paint and interior restoration alone. Any chrome parts or emblems that needed replacement are original 1965 parts that were purchased from The Mustang Collectors here in Miami.
The car has the original 289 engine, and the engine was rebuilt by the original owner. We've put maybe 3,000 miles on the car since we purchased it.
It is a great weekend car, especially for those nice scenic drives.

nothing. car's finished. but people like to take these restored cars and drop in a big engine some fat tires and build a drag car. i personally didn't wanna go that route. a '65 is too precious to rip it up for just another dragster

Still haven't sold this beauty. I am not even driving it on weekends anymore. She's just sitting there getting her beauty sleep. I would really like to sell this Mustang by the end of the year.
