Question for Flips in this site, has anyone shipped their G (or any other cars) to the Philippines? I was told that it was expensive. Would you mind sharing how much you spent for shipping and customs (tax, tariff etc)? Thanks!

you gonna pay 100% tax on the car.
Pero i think they have a program for balik bayans? kung mag reretire na sa pinas.
your better off buying a G sa pinas than importing

wife is from bicol region and their family send the balikbayan boxes all the time. Just part out the G into pieces and send it via ship. l have hooked up my brother in law with apple products and other electronics in those boxes. They regularly send clothes and food to most family members every couple months. I imagine it would cost $3-$5k easy by the time you look into taxes, and freight. If you have some sort of dirty political connections at the port than that would get you a slight discount.
