No, they're not hardened criminals... according to an excerpt I'd read... they're mostly political inmates, ones who'd spoken or fought against the govt, robbers, drug dealers... not that I'm not saying those aren't bad... but these are supposedly not murderers.
The warden of this jail ,which is in Cebu, wanted the inmates to have form of calisthenics... so he'd hired a choreographer and choreographed the whole dance/scene. Then the warden posted it in You Tube. The rest is history.

LOL I know, Pinoys are so good @ basketball... why aren't there any in the NBA? I used to watch street ball (the real ones before the media got a hold of them), and they're quick!
