to be aired nationally on select PBS Stations. We'd
love it if you could watch the program on your local

About the Program:
Narrated by Dean Devlin, famed Filipino-American movie
producer (Independence Day, The Patriot), the program
is about the infamous neighborhood in Stockton, CA,
once called, 'The City of Gold' by Filipinos. Filled
with chop-suey houses, gambling dens, and dance halls,
Little Manila was once home to the largest number of
Filipino immigrants outside of the Philippines.


The show is part of the Asian Pacific American
Heritage Month on PBS. Below are a few broadcast dates

I would just like to share these video with you people. This is a 15 year old girl from the Philippines who was discovered in youtube. She came out in a Korean show called Star King and was seen by Ellen DeGeneres and was invited to her show last year. Needless to say she blew the show away standing ovation twice.....goose bumps on my goose bumps.

Second link is from the Oprah Winfrey show last April. She was invited to the show with the recomendation of David Foster. Foster is a talented song writer and producer for famous singers like Andrea Bocheli, Michael Buble and the likes. He even told Oprah that this young girl is a force to be reconed with. She performed last week in Las Vegas together with the David Foster and friends. She sang 3 songs and every single one was a standing ovation. She is truely talented and is bless with heavenly voice that brings tears to grown men and women. Unfortunately, no video of her performance in Las Vegas yet. My mom watched the concert and she was totally surprise by this young talent. She had no idea who she was, but she said that she got goose bumps when she was singing. Watch and enjoy.
