Damage is pretty slight actually , these cars are built like tanks


damage bill is £5165 £3600 for parts

however they have allowed £1000 for wheels in case can't replace the one damaged , car wont be back until at least first week of july

trying to source new wheels , i can get the same but they are delayed , so will see what options i have when car is nearing completion either way it will be a completely new set

the damaged one i just scuffed and could be refurbed , so i may get the old set refurbed and sell on ebay will easily get £500.00 as they are 20in rims

Nissan have said 3 weeeks for the parts although my mate Alan at Pow-r in luton bedfordshire who deals in *** parts etc has a office in japan next door to Nissan Parts distribution ,

Bodyshop has sent him a list of parts required he reckons can get collected next day and air freight them over so parts here once cleared through customsi n 7 days

I'm leaving it with bodyshop to see what they want to do


Main damage is the complete door really everything

superfical damage to 1/4 Panel

needs new wing and side skirt and there is a tiny dent in sill , no one can beleive it was hit by a 40 ton truck , inside the door is a 5in beam and 2x 3in dia rods so that expalins it

its been hoovered 5x times and still glass being found
