just wondering, my car is coming up to its mot, and ive noticed there is no fog light or a switch for the foglight, the car was tested by a company called SVA and mot'd by them. ive had alook on autotrader and ebay and all the sky's for sale none of them have a fog light!!, i asked about and was told every car on the uks roads has to have one!!! errrr im confused

 

Your car must have one. Check its not in your light clusters (one of your reverse lights), you may not have a seperate switch if they fitted it correctly its possible they connected it to your light control stick and maybe you just need to twist it.
If the company was SVA UK ltd in southampton they would have deffo fitted one.

BTW your car will fail its mot without one.

I have got no rear fog light either, twist the stalk for front fogs, but nothing happens at rear, no fog light indicator on dash display as well. Can anyone please shed some light ( ha ha ) on the subject as my MOT is coming up as well.

 

ive got mine installed underneath my rear license plate, gonna try and get it changed to have it integrated into the tail lights, in one of the reverse lights hopefully! switch is located near the boot release. hope it helps
