Off topic E bay

Help!!!!
Has anyone had the same problem ???
An e mail from E bay to say a 3rd party has acessed my account ect ect,to restore my account ect ect
Code given from E bay MC003A26 .
I have spoken to 3 contacts who have had the same message,has e bay got a serious security problem here !!!
I changed all my pass words ect only to have the same message sent again,now getting worried about e bay ???

Did the mail give you a link to click on to restore your account details? If it did I would go back and double check it actually took you to the ebay site and not a mock up designed to grab your details

To find if eBay sent it, go to eBay and open your account and look in "messages", if they sent it to you, there will be a copy there also.

I delete about 5 of these a day from banks, ebay, paypal etc etc. They apparently originate from Africa which is why they can't be stopped.

Here is a recent one i got from someone making out its the Halifax

Thanks guys ,think I have now got it sorted !!!
Apparently E bay had a problem with a large number of accounts for some reason sent out a mass e mail to all our accounts, and then suspended them !!!
Good old e bay.....shoot from the hip
