Audio Upgrade?
eh...kinda
Mine had already been swapped out for a panasonic, which I then swapped out for a Kenwood. Other than having to remove the whole of the underneath of the dash, and the space still being tight, there weren't any issues

just buy the double din Dash conversion panel , they change in 2005 though , comes with heater controls as well and in English , you have to get from states though but its a offical nissan part but fortunes in the UK
Got one in our GT allows you the choice then to fit any Double din screen or fit a single Din and have a trinket tray under stereo
here is a example , the dash panelschange in 2005 but this gives you the jist

worth it though as you can dump the pointless *** hi fi

Not me personally but previous owner did the double-din conversion and took out the screen (replaced with a Pioneer 7" version). I have removed the satnav/dvd player from the passenger side top glove compartment and the tv tuner from the passenger footwell which weren't useful (region 1 only and the tv tuner wouldn't pick up UK TV signals - they are broadcast at a higher frequency apparently). Anyway, I took a photo below.
