LoL well im from hong kong and im chinese , i dont kno what you talkin about that hong kong ppl aren't chinese. Hong Kong ppl are cantonese which is a dialect of chinese. As far as Taiwan is concerned, its up to them to call whatever race they want to call themselves. Nobody has a problem with that . But i think its more like a political thing isn't it? Just different governments. But i think we're all chinese, just that they are taiwanese chinese and some people are mainland chinese. lol

I believe it is indeed political. Or to get closer to the point of the matter. . . It's a social econmical issue, which I will not get into.

a question for taiwanese... on an exam or survey of any sort.. when it says check your ethnicity, what do you mark?

Did anyone see the drama.. either from Taiwan or Hong Kong where the guy is driving an FX?? I wonder if there are drama where they drive the coupes.. lol

so i think both are correct, altho i don't think hknese applies anymore
