I wish I remembered where to find a top gear video of a guy that built a model of a 60's or 70's racing Ferrari. Everything was a perfect scale of the original and worked including the transmission, shifter, gauges, pedals, etc. The engine was smaller than those in the videos.

 

I remember seeing something on that. It was amazing!
