Gialla Grille On, Pics Inside

Im sure this is nothing new to most, but i put my grille on today. The grille itself was purchased by my friend for his G, and ended up buying another car. So i bought it from him, i love the look of the grille, only thing is he left it in his garage for a few months and it wasnt in very good shape. Few chips, sratches, this n that. But i did the best i could to get it back in shape. Enjoy!

Did you use a modified OEM front grille emblem? The fitment looks a little funky in the pics. It doesn't look like a rear Mt. Fuji emblem.

Agreed. In some of the pics the grille looks unpainted too.

Yea i used the front grille emblem. Its on there tight, its not gonna be perfect, there isnt really any place to mount it.

Extreme, it most likely looks that way because the rest of the car has the clear bra with 64,000 miles on it, and like i said its no where near perfect.

If you can get your hands on a rear Mt. Fuji emblem, you can mount it like this.

Not that you have to. Just might look a little cleaner.

Is that bar in the middle necessary? I have heard that some people have taken it off with no ill effects.

That bar just bugs me for some reason...

Hmm, that's why I like the Data System Grille... Although the Data seems to have a gap between the hood & Grille where this one seems more flush...

This attaches on the bottom with the "fingers" and on top with the clips... Is it that weak to where there would be to much stress on it to crack it?

What about putting in a good quality steel mesh w/ some regidity behind it? Would that help out?

I just ordered one for the heck of it so i'll have a Data and a Gilla for my different moods
