Question

i love the cf hood on these cars, but i just had one question. aren't you guys worried about rain water draining directly onto your hot engine? i always wondered about that? couldn't that seriously damage your engine?

The Top Secret hood comes with covers that screw into the underside of the hood that will keep out the water. Also works good when washing the car.

Does anyone make a CF hood without vents? Something that would just replace the stock one but with no vents, I don't particularly like that look...

damn homie...old **** thread...

anyway, to answer your question...it's either a hit or miss with fitment.

my friend has a js hood and the fitment is okay. the gaps between the hood and fenders on the sides of the hoods are noticeably larger. but the fitment from hood to grille is okay.

however, mark350gt still seems to be having a problem with his js hood and grille, even after he switched from data to gialla.

imo, go with the vis terminator hood (i think that's the name). it looks the same. ive only seen a couple vis hoods..but ive never seen one with poor fitment. (that isnt to say that they are all a perfect/good fit though, lol)
