Thanks for the feedback Hero. I'm not really thinking about doing it, just speculating. Anyway, I dont think its that bad of an idea. I mean c'mon, its the roof... how would you even tell that the vinyl is two pieces. Only drawback I can guess right now is that it might not be as clean and glossy.

 

when i heard about the sedan that vinyled his roof i thought about it too. and if andy is able to do a clean job then i was going to do it. but shhhhh

yeh i dont think itll be nearly as glossy. but for me, since im a dg, i can get like a dark gunmetal or soemthing...so it still has that metallic look to it...idk

its a good idea because its a rather cheap and temporary alternative to painting the roof. if i dont like it i can just peel it off

 

Blackout- I wish I could lower my car. I barely get around town now without scraping...if I did lower my ride, I'd probably get Tein CS coilovers with EDFC or HKS LS coilovers. I love all the IP's reppin' it on this thread! Keep 'em coming...

I went for 35% all around. At first, I thought I should've gone darker, but it looks good the way it is. I saw a few IP's on the streets with dark tint and it doesn't really look as good. That's just my opinion of course.

Is yours an '07 too? I see your '06-'07 wing, so I was just curious.

 

true. sometimes the contrast is just too much. i've always seen 35% as the point where people actually notice whether or not its tinted.

I definitly want to tint the G, but I just don't want to get hassled especially when I have a COUPLE drinks comming home from the bars and what-not (To clear it up, I don't drive drunk, but def love to have a couple drinks) . I'm thinking of going 45% in the front (Pennsylvania Law says any tint in the front is illegal but no one really gets pulled over unless its 15% or below) and 25% in the back. Hmmm decisions, decisions...
