technically you can run as big of a lip as you want if you don't care how far out your wheel sticks out. and don't mind cambering until you're back to the future status. (aka choloflush, mexiflush) I can run a 20" lip, but my wheel will stick out about 14 inches from the fender.

Should I brag that I have 20 inch lips if I do that?

you should actually try to mold in some outer wheel barrels onto the trunk. yennow. for that extra lippage that everyone loves..
