My weekend mod: Replace clock with gauge.

Hey guys, I decided I wanted to put my boost gauge where my clock was. It is a 60mm Defi gauge so I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but this is what I came up with. Let me know what you guys think!

Great solution. What do you guys use when you're custom fabricating this stuff? I haven't the slightest idea, and someday I'd like to do my own stuff for my interior/exterior. My sculpting background qualifies me so trust that you're not helping a wannabe sucker who can't design! Any input helps!

Thanks for the kind words guys! Here are some pics of it installed as well as a shot of where I installed the Defi controler.

I know the paint is not an exact match, but it will do for now.

kidtronix: Basically all I did is take the pod that came with the Defi gauge and trimmed the top of the clock opening so it would set in there. Then I mixed up some Bondo and filled in the rest of the oval clock hole then smoothed and rounded it out with a crap load of sanding!
Not too hard but time consuming.

Can you put a trimming along that control which looks like a remote to a dvd player. I know it wasn't easy cutting through the console like that but the minor detailing really counts.
