btw if customautomesh is reading then the photo on their website of data and gialla look mighty similar. dunno if it's just me but a more blatant difference in the grills online might help consumers since many of us bought replicas and dunno which one we bought...

excited to order these!

^^the difference seems pretty obvious to me. the data grille is MUCH thicker with a MUCH smaller opneing/mouth.

there is no data replica grille. so unless you ordered a data grille, then you have a gialla or gialla style grille.

or griffin/griffin style grille...which is the same as the gialla except it has fins.

point well taken... it's probably just because I'm a newbie at this.

I would think that he did not like the fact that it is plastic and the characteristics of plastic mesh makes it seem flimsy. I am used to the metal grills and I had APC crap that I spray painted black at one time... it kept chipping and you could see the silver behind it all the time...

I actually bought customautomesh like 6 months ago and never installed it because I thought it looked cheap... I tell ya what tho... It actually looks good installed and it will not chip and show wear over time.... all in all a great product for the grills

he didnt like the fact that you have to cut it to fit and that it came all rolled up iirc.

Is the mesh in the picture the same style as what they sell for the Kuruma Z bumper? Because last time I checked, they don't have pics of the mesh for the Kuruma Z bumper on the Customautomesh website, and I wondered if it looks the same as these pics here.

It is all 1/4" weave now... You dont want it tooo tight a weave as it would restrict airflow.
