^^ they just look big. Porsche's aren't that loud. Quiet frankly I think the Z/G's note is louder. A video to show you what I mean:

Trust me they are LOUD. My friend owns a 997 Carrera S and I have listened to the engine bay when they are at WOT, those 997 sounds mean. No joking.
