As usual though, that stillen hood is uh.....odd....
Yeah, I gotta try to get a vid with him driving it... it's night and day between driving and just revving it up at a stand still....

Was wondering when Stillen was going to get something done with our rev-up/6mt's. Good to hear it's finally happened.

Those #'s are, ehh. Especially comparing to the stock base #'s which seem over rated. Anyone else getting those base #'s on theirs? Not me. 237hp/215tq on mine.(DynoJet). Their base at 256/235. Makes me wonder if they didn't add a little oct boost to our crappy Cali 91 garbage to get those #'s.
It's a lot of $$ to just get at best 345/318 and thats on their stage 3 with no 3/36000 extended/extra cost warranty and stage 3 not CARB approved. 3/36 and CARB is only on stage 1 and 2 if I'm not mistaken.

Ummm...yeah, the hood issue is draw back, plus the extra cost IMO. Too bad they've scrapped the lower profile M90 blower project. I just don't like the power bubble in the hood. It takes away from the sleek styling and lines of the G, but that's me.

That's awesome to have your G used for R&D and be given a good price. At cost I would think at the very least. Stillen should have cut loose one of their polished blowers too, for the free 3 week use of someones G. I personally, would have expected that to be a given.

Just my .02 worth.

Yeah, at the wheels it's 330hp and at the crank it'll probably be around 380-390ish...

Better than stock at least....

and yeah, they should have hooked him up with the polished one!

I'd be sad without my G for 3 weeks!

I want a SC so bad but I hate that hood. It's hideous. That's why I am seriously looking into the Vortec kit.

Hey Guys, Speedraver is hypin' up my car way too much. I was really lucky to get this prototype blower on. Without the discount Stillen gave me, I could have never had afforded it, I can't even paint that hood right now. The guys at stillen were awesome, and I let them take their time to test/dyno the car so that they could do it right, tho' I was crying for 3 weeks without my car, driving my dad's slow-*** truck.
I was torn between getting a TT and Stillen. For the cost of the retail Stillen SC, you could get a cherry TT on there with 500+ HP, but I'm glad I got this SC. On the freeway, I slowed down to 40mph, then dropped it to 3rd, then added a constant pressure to the excelerator. Nice strong/linear accelleration. In 4th and 5th gear, the same. That's when I was sold. On the track you can't beat that throttle control. All I wanted was 300+ at the wheel, and even if their dyno might/could be a little high, I think the 330 @wheel will give me 300+ on any dyno. I have to change my driving style a little bit, trying not to get under 3k, and I'm using up more fuel. But so far I'm grinning from ear to ear.
