Hey Richard, it was great meeting you too at the meet. Yeah, the lighting at the meet hid the fact that the color was off... but in the sun it totally stood out. Even my girlfriend who could care less about the car said, "is it suppose to be a different color?"... that's when I knew it had to go back

We'll see, I stopped by this morning and they already had everything prepped again and we're just waiting for the guy to mix the paint. Hoping to have it back in time for the meet on Saturday, but I'm not going to rush em.

I put on Tein H springs . Lowered it just a little . Front scrapes the driveway just a little if I go at an angle .

Looks good Booger! I would love to lower mine, but I already have to angle out of my driveway as it is - and I still scrape a little, especially with the Kuruma bumper being a little lower than stock - it sucks!

I was actually working on the tail lights and emblem this past weekend. I blacked out the inside of the tails and was trying a couple new LED's I got. I'm trying to find LED's that are brighter then the stock ones, so the inner and outer circles match. I may have found one that's close, I just need to put it back together and plug it into the car. When I get my car back I'll give it a try and take some more pics. As far as the emblem goes, I sent it out to a couple places for a quote on chroming... not many places around here that will chrome plastic - so it's kinda slowed me down.

Oh Yaaa, You made that Nismo logo huh. i would try to get the info from K67P67 about where he got his black chromed. the shop should be able to do it in reg chrome. if not do it in black chrome. that would look sick.

Yeah, there was a little gap on the sides, especially on the passenger side- I really noticed it when I was posting these pics. It bothered me so much that I went out and loosened all the bolts/screws and moved things around a little and the fitment was a lot better. The paints getting worked on as we speak

Don't apologize for speaking your mind man, I welcome all comments- Love the avatar pic BTW... catches my eye everytime you post heheh

That's funny you say that, because I have the same gap on the passenger side. It's not bad enough for me to do something about it, but every now and then I wish it was more flush with the car. you can kind of see it in these pics: https://g35driver.com/forums/picture-share/100999-just-because-i-bored-pics-my-coupe-new-body-kit.html

Where did you buy your sides from?

And more importantly, where is this "meet" I'm hearing about?

Damn, the more I see your car the more I love IP - looks great! Yeah, my gaps look about the same, the passenger side was much worse when I took those pics. I got my sides from Japanparts, shipped from Impul Japan - actually got here really quick. I think part of the reason the passenger side is a little off (on mine at least) is because of the 4 body clips that pop into the body. I think a couple of the pieces that are in the body (the female part of the clip), may have broke or at least aren't "grabbing" like they did before I took off the stock sides. I'm going to the dealership to see about getting replacements, hopefully that will do the trick.

The meet I'm talking about is on the 16th, the Sunset meet - sounds like it's going to be a big one!

Had posted these up last night, but they were way too dark... corrected them a little, think they look better. Just a couple night shots from last night
