Thanks for the compliments guys...Yeah, I'm pretty much done w/ the exterior (w/ the exception of getting a VIS Invader 3 hood painted TB, w/ Gloss black vents) and potentially upgrading to Volk GTS or GT30 rims one day..

My headlights are painted TB (I think only one on the forum like that, check my progression thread in my sig for closeups), but my tails are Tinted black.. (got them tinted before I found someone local that could paint them) The tint was done on purpose just to see if I'd get messed w/ by the cops and get a "fix it ticket".. So far so good (knocking on wood), I've passed a LOT of cops w/ no harrassment.. Wanted something I could easily take off if I had to. (something to think about depending on where you live)

Here's an A$$ pic.. (I have 5% tint in the rear as well, just be prepared for it to look like night during the day.. However, you can see PERFECTLY FINE at night through the rearview, don't let that deter you)

So you have 5% tints on the back windows and rear windshield, so do I. What percent tint do you have on the tail lights?

 

^actually no.. I didn't mean to cause confusion.. ALL of my windows (rear triangular windows included are 20% by Texas Law) only the rear windshield is 5%..

I'm not exactly sure what the tail lights are... Believe it or not, I got lucky w/ tints from ebay.. Also had my clearcorners painted (put a bit of black in the clearcoat) to match my taillight tint.. Local guy does it.. Named Drone, he's a member here on the forums too.

Oh, I see. Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll get my tails tinted and then possibly paint my 04 headlights TB. I can't afford to get 06+ projectors and have them painted now.

 

You might not want to invest in painting headlights that are eventually going to get headlights.. The are prone to "S" cracks.. I didn't upgrade the headlights just for aesthetics.. The build quality is also superior.. Most of the 04 Headlights crack and get condensation in them as well.. That's why Infiniti went to projectors rather than the HID Reflectors in later models
