FINALLY got most of the swirls out.....

Ok so since I bought my G35 used about 7 months ago, all the swirl marks have been driving me crazy. I finally had a chance to drop it off at a local detail place to see what they can do and here are the results.

I dont have any crazy mods on the car to show off, but I'm just glad it looks smooth again.

Not yet, but then again I've been really busy this past week at work and haven't opened any mail up. I'll check tonight when I get home. Any word yet on the other thing we discussed (not trying to rush just curious thats all)?

Thanks man. There are still a few you can see at certain angles in the sun, but its 100x better than it was before. I was planning on getting a porter cable and doing it myself, but I just dont have time right now to put in those kind of hours b/c of work. I'm also in the process of organizing a photoshoot for FGC members at the end of this month so I figured I'd get it detailed.

$75 for exterior only which consisted of car wash, swirl removal with a rotary, wet sanding for a couple deeper scratches, wax, wheel/rim shine, and engine bay detail.

Yeah I was impressed by their work. I originally wanted to schedule something with Jon over in Orlando, but they were local and fit me into their schedule quickly and even gave me a rental car so I could get to work (instead of 4 free car washes)

Next on the agenda are some Bat Overlays to replace the ones I used to have. I actually was going to go with full smoked tails like yours Tru but I couldn't resist the solid black GTR tails he has.

Car looks great! Wish you had some 'before' pics to compare them too. Your car looks very well done. Love the drop!

Take care

WHOA that is cheap!! I'd be scared if someone told me $75 including wet sanding.

Car looks great though. Good job. Now it's time to sharpen up your car washing skills to avoid as many swirls and as much marring as possible.

Yeah I'm good on the washing techniques, the swirl marks were all inherited from the previous owner.
