Is it just me, or does Brilliant Silver kind of look like gold in the sunlight? Mine seems to.

BTW, just picked my G35 coupe up today. LOVE it!

That's really odd. The dealer said it looked a little gold in the sunlight, too. Hmm...

 

may be you car isn't brilliant silver
there are several ppl on this board mistaken desert platiunm for brilliant silver.
I can't even tell the difference between my friend's DP with my BS at night.

^ All Brilliant Silver's have a slight *HINT* of GOLD in the paint. It can be seen primarily in direct sunlight. When I say this, please don't mistake it to say the entire paint looks gold - what I'm saying is you can see a slight hue of gold inside the paint 'tone'.

Basically, I've seen straight up SILVER cars next to mine in a parking lot (side-by-side w/ a Lexus) in direct sunlight and our Brilliant Silver does have a tiny bit of goldish hue added to it.

Hard to explain, but do the same - park besides another silver car from another vendor (Lexus, Toyota, Acura, Honda, etc etc) in DIRECT sunlight and you'll easily see the goldish hue.

Thanks Its all carbon fiber only thing Im going to paint is the fenders but I plan to do a color change so might as well not paint them now also I spent $600 on these fenders might as well show off some carbon for now lol
