The factory installs that to protect it while in shipping. They usually take it off just before you pick up the car or right when it gets to the dealer.Originally Posted by silvernole12

Looks great. Gotta lose that bracket asap.. front plates ruin the look of any car imo, wish all states would just do away with them.
