Went both days this past weekend at Irwindale Speedway... had a great time (even in the rain), and took a ton of pics. Here's a couple of the crashes and some other pics I thought were cool. Sorry they arent the best quality, my lens sucked at that distance.

Looks like it was too much to ask for.

 

He scraped the wall... took out the rear left - nothing too bad, he kept going till he was eliminated.

 

Really? In that second pic it looks like his rear quarter is sticking out something wicked.

 

Here's another shot from before the crash. He just has big flares on the back - they look stuck on.

 

I stand (er sit) corrected. I haven't watched D1 since the first race of the year. I totally forgot how Calvin's G looked.

I never been to D1, I waited in line for the first one, but by that time they let people in I had to go to work, and I live about 5 mins away from there. Drives me nuts when I'm home from school and all I hear is the screeching of the tires...
