So...is desert platinum considered gold or silver? My dealer told me I have Brilliant Silver, but from the looks of these pictures, I have dp.

its on the sticker in the driver side door jam
am805 is dp, if its something else then its not dp. lol

yes check your paint code on the door. If it reads KX6 then you have Desert Platinum.

 

Mine says AM810, and I couldn't find anything that resembled "KX6." Hmm...

 

um....wierd...i know that when I have been to the body shop to have all my work done....they said my paint code was KX6

also desert platinum was only a color choice for 03 and 04 year G35's.

 

i have had alot things painted..body wise....

Ok...I finally figured out my color. Apparently my dealer doesn't know what he's talking about, the plate under my hood reads "KX6." Here are some crappy iPhone pics, as my dad is still busy playing around with my D200. I love how the shade of the color changes in different lighting...
