Nice pics! Was one of your tires flat on the right side? It actually does look like it was leaning a bit. . .maybe an optical illusion?

Is that a cooling filter applied? I've tried that as well, but didn't post the result (the color is a bit more blue than what it really is).

 

Nope, not flat. Could be either uneven pavement or distortion with the 17mm zoom (the tripod has a bubble lever, so I'm sure the camera was positioned right).

Mission College? My alma mater (well one of em, the other being De Anza College) - Santa Clara University - is also not too far away from that area.

 

Damn those are some nice pics. You guys are makining me want to take up a photography class.
