those shots have convinced me on buying your camera........on canon.com i found a sd900, and knowing nothing about camera's.....im gonna guess the sd900 is a better version?

also, anyone recommend any websites to buy camera's?

in fact they actually lost some of the quality because when i uploaded to photobucket,i resized them to fits 17" screen.

anyone recommend any websites to buy camera's?
i bought mine from http://www.abesofmaine.com/ transaction went really smooth,received the camera in 4 days.
i did look at sd900 and end up buy sd700...you can pull out specs on those 2 and compare.if you don't know much about camera then no need for you to get sd900

what do you guys think of the SD600/SD630??

a little more around my budget..

i heard many good reviews on sd630
but i got sd700 because it had the "image stabilizer" feature.it's a must IMO

i have a 12% off coupon to best buy, so it would take like $30 off the SD630

The SD700 with "IS" is sweet. It works wonders on our trip to Aruba during an offroad ride across the country. 90% of the pics you would of never guessed it was taken while offroad in a truck as they were extremely clear. I've since picked up the SD800 IS with widescreen. The SD900 doesn't have IS so it was not a consideration in my book.

Isn't there a canon camera that will take b/w shots, but allow you to choose which items in the pic come out in color?
