Just got my new goodies put on...

And I just wanted to share. Here's what I put on:

Volk GT-7 19x8.5 +23 F, 19x9.5 +24 R
Advan Sport 245/35/19 F, 275/35/19 R
350Z Tein H Tech springs

The springs only took me about two hours, by myself. It was a learning experience. Haha. I learned that I have to pay more attention to detail on this car, as compared to my old 240SX. But, in the end, it wasn't that bad and I'm really happy with the outcome. And, I'm sure people still ask, "How's your camber? Is it in spec? Did you use aftermarket arms?" My rear camber is very much in spec. However, I had them leave it at about -1.8 deg on both sides (within spec). The front is a slightly different story. IIRC, specs allow up to -1.2 or -1.3 deg camber. And, mine are sitting at -1.3 to -1.4. Soooo, its not THAT far out.

thats a nice drop. the rear doesnt sit noticably higher than the front like it usually does.

Wasn't sure how the gt7's would look on this car,but they look good,especially the black/black.

i haven't. that's why i very very rarely use it.

I use meguiar's endurance, its purple colored gel, and I've never had it splatter onto my paint. I find its best to apply 2 thin coats and wait at least 30 mins before driving. Splatter usually occurs because of excess in the tread near the edges, so you have to be sure to remove it. A 1 1/2" paintbrush works good as an applicator as well.

thanks for that tip. i used armorall (the one in the orange bottle - it's a gel) and have waited overnight (~12 hours) and it still spit. i'll definitely try this out.

btw, gt-7's are hot. reminds me of kurtis's old setup.
